We
went to many places on this day with new Thailand friend, Prom. We went to
Ayutthaya Historical Study Center. There, we could see many things about
Ayutthaya, like a traditional house, traditional game, some miniatures,
traditional herbals, etc. But there, we couldn't take picture inside, so here I show
you the outside.
Then we went to
Ayutthaya National Museum Chao Sam Praya. There we could see so many Buddha
statues from small size until big size.
Next, we went to a big
park but I forgot the name. Hahaha. There we could see many elephants. If you
wanna ride the elephant, you have to pay about 400 baht. And because we were
students, we didn’t ride it because we still had about 26 days in Ayutthaya, so
we save our money. Hihi
Then we went to Wat
Maha That, there were some temples and Buddha statues. There we could find the
well known Buddha’s head trapped on the root. I saw there were many Buddha
statues without head and the temples built of bricks, not from stones like
Prambanan or Borobudur in Indonesia.

The funny moment on
this day was when we bought rice and fried chicken. We have already asked to
our Thailand friend how to said that, and she said “Ka Phao and Kai” but when
we said it to the seller, she didn’t understand, finally we used body
languages. We move and made sound like chicken so she understood. Then when we
asked about the oil, she showed us there was halal label on her oil so it safe.
Maybe she understood that we were moslem so she showed us that she used halal
materials, she showed us one by one about the material then she put it to the
wok and cooked it.
But suddenly she
said, “No moo”. We thought that she didn’t has beef, but that was not about
beef but pork. The “Moo” was not cow’s sound but pork in Thailand. Hahaha, I
just imagine what if I want a beef then I say “Yes, moo, please” and the seller
give me pork then I eat it. Forgive me, Allah.

And the sad story on
this day was I lost the baby bird that I found a day before. I didn’t know
where it was, but I hope it was okay.
